This is my interpretation of the game for the first assignment for the module Game Feel.
The idea of the game is to represent a painter who uses the blood of their enemies.

To suit the overall blood aesthetic, I chose synthwave music (Carpenter Brut) to play alongside the game.

Reflections: 
I feel like the jump feels good right now, but I'd like to implement coyote time and some jump buffers to improve the overall playability of the game
I'd like to implement more monochrome artwork for the background assets
More non-linear audio responses could be added
